Coming up on day 3 of Phase I training at pro-dive. I've been certified to perform emergency first response (CPR) and got checked out on the automated defibrillator (CLEAR!). We've begun learning rescue and extraction techniques for unconscious divers. More practice at the beach tommorow morning before we get on the dive boat and practice offshore for our final checkout. Next monday I begin 2 weeks of Divemaster training. Don't expect to see me through much of this. I'm working my ass off 9-5 and studying what's left of it off in the evenings. Oh, and I may be unavailable the following weeks after divemaster. Why?
