Losing a bit of connection with internet society.

Life in the Tri-cities is grand. I have come to terms with the fact that it's not so bad to live in a wasteland. Especially when you are working towards the future: crazy Pullman and beautiful Spokane. Every day I gaze out my driver's side window at the vast desert that IS Eastern Washington.  The only hint of geological contrast is a hill that has be scorched by the last brush fire. Oh despair. How I long for the rain and evergreen glory, but alas, I just got 100% on my last two psychology quizes. Little distractions does wonders for my study habits.

Reading has been amazing for me. Because I only have a 10 credit load this semester, I have been able to get some extra reading done.  I have started, and almost finished, reading Into the Wild again. I love that book and I love Jon Krackauer. He is really fair in his writing, and presents the facts with very little bias. His style is smooth and interesting, and I have read two other books of his ( Into Thin Air and Under the Banner of Heaven ). I need to read His book Eiger Dreams.

I'm missing my friends, and I hope we can meet up this winter. I still have stuff in Blackfoot, believe it or not, and I would like to pick it all up this winter, granted weather is ok. I hope all is well with everyone, hit me back if you ever log on to LJ!

Outta here, PEACE
