i cannot believe that spring break is in less than two weeks, but i need it to be now.
So. Spring break in two weeks, hooray! I'm going to a beach house at Myrtle Beach with some of my best friends here and the boy and it should be a really good time. lots of booze and sunbathing, which is really all i need :)
I just sent in my employment contract for my second summer at tip -- i'm going back to texas and i'm going to be a residence hall leader, so i get paid a little more and i get a title jump for my resume, woohoooo
i'm pissed that gossip girl keeps showing re-runs, i need to know what's going to happen next!
sometimes i think being an english major was a bad choice. mostly because i don't like to sit down and write papers... and i have to write a lot of them. i turned in two yesterday and i have another one due friday, plus a mid-term tomorrow involving writing an essay in an hour. oh shakespeare, one day you'll kill me. i think my book for shakespeare weighs like 6 pounds... and i'm not exaggerating.
i need to finish reading jane eyre and write my final response for tomorrow. crap. i got really sick last week for the first time since, well, since last summer. i seem to be a breeding ground for weird, resistant, really painful strep so i'm going to see if they'll take my tonsils out by request. seriously, i can't get that sick all the time -- i had to go stay with my aunt in charleston for three days and i missed a ton of work and it sucks.
anyway, i love that most of the time it's like 72 and sunny here, i've recently developed an obsession with zaxby's, i've discovered a website where i can watch movies that haven't been released on dvd yet (on sunday i watched juno!), i went to a tanning bed for the first time, and overall life is pretty good. though i could use a little more time to nap... :)
