it's moments like this that make me wish i could freeze frame time
in south carolina when i meet people and tell them my name is carrie they say, "oh, like that movie where the girls goes psycho at her prom"
in texas when i meet people they say, "like carrie underwood?" and i love it.
i've been two-steppin' and going to concerts for texas country stars and wearing cowboy boots and i've loved every single second of it. the best part? i get paid to do this. i take care of kids in the afternoon, plan things and visit classes (and sleep and lay by the pool) during the day, put the kids to bed at 11 and go out until 2. it's incredible.
yesterday my bosses told me that they really really want me to be an RHL next summer!! that's really exciting, seriously.
i'm working band camp when i get home from tejas, so i'll have some spending money before i go back to the cola... start planning things!
