hello hello!
nothing super big has happened recently, aside from spring break...which was absolutely incredible. a week spent in destin with one of my favorite girls from which i emerged with a serious tan, a new haircolor, a new friend, and a new appreciation for jellyfish. good stuff.
formal for o phi a is this weekend and i'm pretty excited about that, it should be fun. my dress is pretty, if nothing else, and that's really all that matters :) and then next weekend is the carolina cup and i got my dress and my hat and i'm ready to drink mimosas and make small talk... i'm actually more excited for the cup than i am for formal, it should be a party and a half.
i sent in my two weeks to carolina callers today, i just can't stand the hypocrisy any more. i mean, i hate soliciters..why should i be one? spring break is over, i no longer need the money, and life is too short to waste time doing something i hate. so next thursday will be my last day and that makes me incomprehensibly happy. i'll have my weekends back! and i won't have to miss the first ten minutes of grey's anatomy!!!
the lineup for musicfest this year makes me extremely sad. if only i had a car so i could get home that weekend... oh well, next year. hopefully the lineup will be equally excellent then.
i just got word about working for TIP this summer and i will be an RC, but, sadly, not at kansas. :( they offered me a position as an RC at the texas a&m campus, so i accepted the offer and i'll be spending roughly two months of my summer in texas, where it's even hotter than memphis and i will probably pass out before it's all over. but it'll be fun and i'll get paid bunches, so i'll take it.
i've rediscovered my love for something corporate and jack's mannequin. and jack's mannequin is playing at musicfest!!!! ahhhhh. :(
anyway. time to walk to work for the fifth to last time. have a good one, kids.
