An open letter to the Microsoft Corporation

Feb 15, 2005 23:39

Dear Mr. Gates,
I am writing this letter in hopes that you will forgive me. I am not aware of how I have offended you. Maybe it's because I use a Mac. Regardless, I would like to apologize for whatever I have done to warrant the plague you have bestowed upon me. I know the power you hold over me, even as a Mac user, and would not dare challenge that. I could not function as a human being without Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger, Hotmail, or Microsoft Office.

Please, Mr. Gates, find it in your heart to accept my humble apology, and allow me to continue to use your wonderful programs and services without errors popping up every 5 seconds. All I would like is to send Emily a file over MSN Messenger. Well, maybe a new version of Messenger:Mac while you're at it. You know, like 6.2, with custom emoticons and display pictures. But I'll settle for just sending files to Emily without errors.

Thank you,
Mary Jenkins
