I'm going to Europe.

It's finally really starting to sink in. So excited...

Anywho... the last few days have actually been moderately intereting, thus the lack of updates. Funny how that works, eh?

On Friday, I had the worst day of work EVER. I had to markdown the kids' department ALONE. I was so angry. It was so much work, I wanted to cry. Then Teresa came to the mall and she had dinner with me, and she was pissed off about work to, so we had horribly fattening food/shopping therapy.

On Saturday I worked again, but it was a nice easy cash shift. And we got out early. Then Teresa called from work out of boredom, and we decided we wanted to go out. We went to the latest showing possible of "Fahrenheit 9/11" with Ming Y. We ran into my sister at the theatre. It was good times. The movie was just as biased as I had expected, which I'm sure allowed me to enjoy it more. I think I like "Bowling for Columbine" better, mostly because of the "Brief History of the USA".

On Sunday, I slept all day to take advantage of the rare "weekend day-off", then went to my Nonna's for barbeque. I love barbeque. So much meat... We had burgers, hot dogs, wings, grilled veggies, and baked potatoes. And I got to take home a CD of a bunch of my mom's cousins singing. I have to burn it for my grandma. The great thing about my mom's family is that they CAN sing. And the CD has two of my favourite family-member covers on it. Manuel singing "Music of the Night", which is pretty much crap until he sings the word "be". It makes my heart stop. Also, Pep sings "Io Vagabondo", which is an awesome Italian song, and he has the best voice ever. The only song missing is Pep singing "Hey Jude". He's the only person I know that can cover the Beatles without sounding like an asshole. He can go really high pitched, so he gets all the notes just right. It's awesome.

Anywho, as a result, I'm on an Italian pop song binge. It's disgusting. I've been listening to nothing but Leftover Crack, Incubus, and Italian pop. Kill me.

As for today, I had a very long customer service shift. 1-10:30. It took a lot out of me. It wasn't too busy though, so I didn't mind. I'm really tired now though. And Teresa came to visit again. We got Iced Caps and shopped on my lunch break. I also picked up a shift for tomorrow. I'm going in 7-2 to process shoes in the warehouse, so I get to wear normal clothes! Then I have to go to Scarborough Town Center to pick up my passport. *claps excitedly and squeals* I'm really going!

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself. Mankind. Basically, it's made up of two separate words---"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.
