Tuesday
I'm so excited. I'm going home tomorrow and I can't fucking wait. It feels like I haven't been home in so long, yet it feels like I haven't been away from home for too long either. Basically, it feels neutral, but I still cannot wait to be home. It sucks that I'll only be home for like 2 days, but whatevs. It also sucks that I won't be home for Easter Sunday, but that wasn't really anything I cared too much for anyway. Besides, if it wouldn't have cost us so much my parents would have bought the tickets for Sunday night. Plus, now I get to go see Earth Crisis, Terror, and Shai Hulud! Ah! It's going to be the hardest hardcore show ever and I'm going to be there to drink it all in. PLUS I might get to interview Earth Crisis! AH! They're gods amongst men in the hardcore world. Basically, from here on out, this semester is going to kick ass. In about 6 weeks I go to Metal Fest, which is probably going to be the high point of this year. 3 days of some of the best bands ever and I get to interview a bunch of them.
I really cannot wait for Metal Fest. I get to see some of my all time favorite bands and have the possibility of interviewing most of them too. I actually might be able to interview Job For a Cowboy, Dillinger Escape Plan, Elysia, Stick To Your Guns, The Acacia Strain, Cockpunch!, Despised Icon, Behemoth, From a Second Story Window, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Shipwreck A.D., xTYRANTx, and Rhinoceros.
Jesus. I'm going to be even more than a kid in a candy store at this show. I'm going to be more like a convicted sex offender at a My Super Sweet 16 taping when I'm at Metal Fest. What...too soon?
Anyway, I'm done for now.
