I thought I'd hijack you on my journal just to keep some more anonymity if you do things that way

I grabbed your response to an old old post in the FTM tags about GPs in the Northampton area... mine's pretty great but she's retiring in about a week... yeaaaah 2 months before my surgery.

Do you still like Marci Yoss? Mind sharing a little bit? I checked my provider's website and she accepts my insurance... when you had surgery did you bring it up with her etc?

I don't mean to be Mr. 20 questions but I feel like as I start passing more and more in this town, I need a really good doctor.

Any help would be fab, man. I'm traveling for surgery and thus would need someone here I can rely on

I adore Marci. she's professional, sensitive, and has treated other trans patients before me.
She was very excited about my transition, and wrote me a script for surgery in case it would help with my insurance (it didn't, but it was still nice of her)
she also does the world's fastest GYN exam, which is much appreciated. (Although she did once call my cervix "she," in a kind of crunchy, "she looks healthy," kind of way. I thought it was hilarious, but I figured I would warn you that she has these kind of hippie moments. She's never had a problem with my pronouns, though.)
Her nurse, Jackie, is also awesome.
I'm not sure she's taking new patients, but it can't hurt to call.
