A lost AU fic
This used to be one of my all time fave fics, but yesterday I realised I'd not only lost the link, I'd forgotten the name of the fic too...
Basically Mulder goes to see a psychic (may have been at Christmas) and she shows him a reality where Sam never died. Sam was dating Charlie, and Mulder bumped into Scully at a conference - not knowing that she was actually staying with Sam at the time. They start a relationship but she has MAJOR issues due to her ex-husband and his illegitimate daughter who she has adopted...
