Weekend Snaps

I don't think I mentioned before, Marty (Cel's brother) and Clarizze are engaged!
Marty proposed at the Grand Canyon ♥♥♥ the weekend following July 4th.
Congratulations you two. Clearly, they are twitterpatted.

And cause one half of the couple can't get enough of me (yea right), post-The Fray concert, Clarizze came back with her brother JR for a little run around the OC. I took them to Laguna Beach. We were all looking forward to play with some sea creatures like we did when the girls came to visit. However, the moon was out, hence high tide.
Many thanks to you Mr. Einschtein. Hehe.
I do love how Clarizze immediately declared she was not swimming when we arrived.
And then relented after sitting for 15mins in the sun.
Hehe.
I did say it was hot out, yes :)
The water was so nice and JR and I were taking turns catching the waves. Then Clarizze followed. I was so jealous of the skim boarders. When I'm less broke, I may just buy a body board to start with.

I also I went to see Stacy.
I haven't seen her in what seemed like ages. Again, it was nice to see more of my dear friends, so often in a week. Happy!
Cel came to spend the night. She had wanted to get her haircut by Hide too so we met up with him and Sayaka. Again, amazing hair. I love the layering he did and her bangs look really pretty.

I'm super happy with my hair too. You know you got a great cut done when you go to sleep with your hair wet -which I ALWAYS do- then wake up the next day and head out without as much as running my hands to at least fix my hair, and STILL have it look like you styled it. I'm SO glad Sayaka introduced me to him. Pity he's leaving for Japan on Saturday.

After Cel's haircut we went to the OC Fair. Celine said she wanted to go on all the scary rides. I'd have normally said yes to roller coasters and all that tumble and swirl but I was so tired and I didn't need anymore excitement that night. Sooo, instead we all agreed to go on the lift. Apparently, Celine didn't know that she is acrophobic. I don't care much for heights but her going on throughout the ride made me nervous too.
It's ok, she's got sexy hair anyways.

Sunday, I took her to my fave little shore at Laguna Beach. The waves were even bigger than the day before but it was late in the afternoon and the water was getting cold so I didn't swim this time.

Cel was craving for soba and I, for proper spaghetti so we head to Mitsuwa. I was not disappointed with my Bolognese from Maestro. I love Japanese Italian. Mmmmm...yuuuuum.
We also got some bread and desserts at the bakery (more yum!) before we headed to Newport Beach for Shakespeare by the Sea. We saw As You Like It. It cracked me up :)

This week is finally lazy weekend. There may be a "fuck-off world" wine night with Stacy and then I'm meeting D and some of our other friends the next day. Have a few paintings I need to finish so this will be a good time.

Mmm...I want a new cossie. There are pretty ones on sale all over the place dammit.
Oh what am I talking about! I have a bajillion already!
:(
Greedy.

Is it ok to tell a man that he's gentle? Theoretically speaking only, of course.
