Whew! The internet is so deathly slow I've almost giving up posting here for awhile!
How is everyone doing?
I attended a wedding this weekend where I got to see some great women I worked with, ate yummy Mexican food, and delectable ice pops to cool me down from the proper summer heat. As the guests were coming into the reception, there was a big Mexican brass band playing music and some of the older folk were already dancing.
I also got to be part of this dance where you line up and then when you get to the top of the line, you walk/dance/be generally silly down this runway type space flanked by the rest of the people waiting in line. Living in the states, I've forgotten the passionate nature that Latin Americans share with my culture. I was about to run off from that dance bit but one lady all but shoved pushed me to the top of the line. No wedding is complete till one has made a silly gesture I suppose. It was a really fun wedding with great 80s music -DJ Richard Blade was brought in by special order of the bride.
