happy birthday celine
It was Celine's birthday on Friday, and as with all birthdays, we make it a point to celebrate for the entire weekend -if not the entire month. We started on on Friday, with dinner and cocktails at our place.
Following that we went to Universal Studios and had a crazy good time -although after the last ride -Descpicable Me- I was ready to pass out/throw up (either, both, one before the other). We met up for dinner at Phoenix but miscommunication landed us on watching a boxing match we did not want to see and having the kitchen close on us before we even got a chance to dinner. Thankfully, there was Jenga to amuse us while we got our wits together.
Eventually, we ended up at a Korean karaoke place that served food. It was a successful nightcap and the hangry (read: hungry + angry) folk were appeased! Plus who doesn't want to end the night with loud, rowdy singing and crazy delicious Asian food?!
The following day we all met up for more Asian food, all you can eat Korean bbq at Little Tokyo and then some yummy macaron ice cream dessert! I am now recovering with fish meals and as much veg and fruit I can get my hands on!
