I was hoping to be a bit of a recluse this weekend but that didn't happen.
My bestfriend, Celine came in town for a visit. We went to a craft fair across the bridge from where I live and of course came away with some goodies to take home with and give to friends. We also did Old Town Orange, which is one of my favourites for antique shopping haunts. I found more goodies for my shop. :)
Here's Celine and her delicious Bloody Mary -not my alky of choice, but when she makes it, it's very good.
And because it was the eve of St. Patrick's, Celine and I went out to an Irish pub nearby and met up with our friend, Halley of L'Enfant Terrible.
If you like to watch True Blood, here's something you might be familiar with.
These last bits were taken at Alex's Bar which is where the first few episodes of True Blood were filmed at, the bar known in the show as Fangtasia. The women's restroom was decorated with the show's vampire inspired art.
The crowd was great and unpretentious, everyone had their own unique style -fell in love with that boy with his VERY VERY VERY skinny jeans-, AND they had a photo booth. Win!
Not bad for my first proper St. Paddy's celebration.
