Still reeling from the afterglow of rosé, Dan and I -along with his dad, niece, and brother-in-law- headed out to the mountains. These are in Sinai, which is in Prahova. The area is a mountain resort east of the Olt River. The landscape was lush and green and there were a lot of interesting architecture that I have never seen before. Also, I found that a lot of deserts (cream puffs and yes, even cakes complete with icing) were bathed in rum syrup. Being used to Japanese/French style desserts, this kind of put me off of sweets for awhile.
