No news is better news
Long time no write, long time no free time, or computer access, or desire to write. Lots to tell but all little things, for the most part.
The Furacao nonsense has all but reconciled itself, this coming only after Furacao tried to kick my head and balls clear of my body. Batizado is this weekend and I do not believe I am participating though I will be there for support.
I dig a girl at school. She is cool, and quirky, and nice, and cute, and twenty. Twenty is not bad by itself but in teh context of she is twenty years old which makes her younger than my sisters it becomes a whole lot worse, in my head anyway. We shall see. Her name is Colleen by the way and at the risk of sounding corny I knew I wanted to talk to her from teh first time I saw her smile, and fortunately I made advances and the were recipricated. We have talked a bunch on campus and things are looking up towards hanging out for real sometime in the future. Maybe I'll call her tonight.
I applied for the NYC Teachers Fellowship program and got denied so I will still be a grad student next semester, which sucks. I was really hoping to get my ass on the other side of the classroom sooner than later. Oh well. How the HELL did Pomba get accepted and I didn't? Oh well.
PSP or not PSP? I opt for not because $250 is a large price tag, but it is a fair one for verything the machine does and the screen is the sharpest thing I have ever fucking seen. I am an eternal hater of all things non-nintendo until the prove themselves and the PSP has already proven itself to me- damn that machine is beautiful. Nintendo has its work cut out for them in the next go round of handheld devices.
I didn't write about teh Star Wars Episode 3 full preview- it is awesome, I can not wait. In the Entertainment weekly star wars quiz I got 38 out of 40 star wars question right. I got wrong who LUcas might have named Anakin after ( a director named Keneth Annakin) and what were the three movies Mark Hamill, Harison Ford and Carrie Fisher respectively starred in immediately following Star Wars (Corvette Summer, Heros, and The Blues Brothers). But now I know and knowing is half the battle. Peace out bitches.
