My banner is shitty. Finding Jam Chapter 2

Jul 09, 2009 16:54

Yeah, I may make a better banner sometime soon, but right now I can't be arsed, I just wanted some customization for the new layout which I keep on changing, woohoo.

So anyways, first of all, I want to say a HUGE thank you to all the comments I've received when I uploaded the first chapter of Finding Jam, I didn't expect so many, normally it's just ( Read more... )

I didn't know you could customize the maternity clothes! I'll have to keep that in mind!

If you put them in an outfit that already has the pregmorphs, they'll stay in it. If the outfit they're in when they notice they're pregnant does NOT have pregmorphs, they'll switch to something that does and then you're stuck with it!

How do you know ahead of time that an outfit has a preg morph? Are there replacement meshes out there? Or do some of the game's outfits have preg morphs while others don't? And if it's the latter, how does one find out which ones they are?

You can use awesomemod to stop the randomly spawning babies. It has a "no parthenogenesis" option on it. I think there is also a mod on MTS that stops that particular "feature".

This is shaping up great! Bring on the ghost baby(ies?)!

Just some of the outfits already have pregmorphs. I don't know how to check which ones other than look at what Sims are changing into. Other than that dress I know the track jacket has a pregmorph and so does the T-shirt with the long-sleeve undershirt, but the pants don't morph with it so I really just stick to that dress for maternity clothes.

Thanks :) I'll keep that in mind. I might just have to keep experimenting with the different outfits, see which ones have the morphs and which ones don't.

I'll keep an eye out for your story. I really like the way it's shaping up.

Just realised you're also doing Life in the SV. Will give that a twirl, too. I always liked your TS2 stuff. What I lack in commenting (all over the internets) I make up for... I don't know... do I make up for it? HOW do I make up for it? LOL By appreciating "stuff", I suppose.

I've been avoiding TS3 stories because even though I have the game I am still deeply involved with all my TS2 stuff and don't want to get distracted because I am very distractable. The other day I thought I might give TS3 a quick play and emerged in a haze 6 hours later. But I always liked your stuff (pictures, stories, etc) so I'll read it now that it kind of smacked me in the head as to who is actually writing it.

So you may safely feel warm and fuzzy and creeped out by the fact that I'm out there, lurking. And totally failing to comment :)

Haha, that's okay. I can feel your appreciation seeping through the intertubes.

I know what you mean though. I tend to emerge from Sims 3 playing in a haze not knowing what time it is.

Believe me, I'm very much regretting the fact of having a ghost baby *OMG SPOILER*. Having two sims with just a screaming voice 24/7 is frustrating -_-

Anyways I'm glad you enjoyed this :)
