i understand hun. i mean, i don't...but i do. my parents are not remotely like that. maily b/c i live a completly different life than you do...and who doesn't? just remember, one day when you have got the job of your dreams and rolling in the money, you will....dare i say....thank them for the pushing and the red faces. although, you will remember how it felt to be that age and never treat your kids in a like manor, knowing how difficult it was to get by with a smile. you will expect that your kids do their best, and if a 91 is their best, then you will hug them and kiss them and tell them you love them and to keep on trying. you life will be an example to them and something for them to strive hard at. you will forever remember what high school was like. and if you end up having a kid that hates school and wants to be in a rock band, then you will say, "you can rock the night away....after your homework". i hope that when we are both older and have kids that we will always remember these days. always remember how frustrating it was when someone told us that we were too young to understand. maybe its true, but those words still hurt. how we hate it when we disappoint our parents and the sound of their voice when they are upset and how it affected us. i pray that we are a little more understanding to how teenagers act and feel and be sympathetic to that. or maybe we ill end up like our parents...incapable of being understanding, sympathetic, and overly capable of making a hard situation worse. i think that we should keep a journal of all the things that our parents do that get on our nerves. then one day, when we have kids, we will look at it and realize...dang...we do all those things
