weekend update
Friday: Got off of work hella early and drove to pick up Katelyn for the Sawdust festival. It's this art festival in Laguna Beach (it's straight outta the OC sukka). When we got there, we headed straight for the drinkies (surprise surprise) and I flirted with the bartenders. Then we walked around, looked at artsy shit and got some more drinkies...flirted some more and walked around some more. I bought the coolest ring! It's made out of a spoon!! Then for a 3rd time, I went back to get more drinks (and by this time I was fucked up, but of course you couldn't tell). I ended up giving my number to the bartender who was clearly older than I am (we're talking like 32 at the least) but he was super hot. I was nervous though because I doubted that he would call at all... Then I ended up going to Katelyn's house and drank some more. Then I passed the fuck out!!
Saturday: I woke up at like 10:30 and went to the mall with Katelyn. We bought a whole grip of shit...including a dress that I'm going to wear to Katelyn's sister's wedding in a couple weeks. I got super excited too because i'm now 2 sizes smaller than I was when I left New York!! After that, I came home to LBC and got ready to go out...of course I hung out with Katelyn again!! We went to see an indie film called Little Miss Sunshine. It was really good...way better than I expected. As I was driving to the movies, that bartender dude called!! His name is Roger and he is a fisherman...he said he was going on vacation so he wanted to make sure that he called me beforehand so I didn't think that he was blowing me off. He then invited me back to the Sawdust Festival on Sunday (next week) so we could hang out a little while he works (and he's getting me and Kit Kat in for free!!) I was super excited b/c finally a boy called!!
Sunday: I ended up hanging out with my mom. we ate at Islands and went shopping for couches. I bought the coolest couches. I got a 3 person sofa and 2 person love seat for $660 which is not bad at all!! Then I lazed around and moved more shit to my new house...
Monday: Worked my ass off and came home. I also got a list of guitar instructors in the area so I can start my lessons. I'm super excited!! Then I fell asleep and had a super weird dream. All I know is that it started out really scary with the Nightmare on Elm Street dude in it and ended hysterically with me saying "SALAD STICK RICE!!" I'm not sure WTF the means, but I woke up laughing. I'm fucking weird!!
