My coat is hanging over my shoulder
I 'm pretty excited about the way things have been turning out recently. I'm trying hard to combine the 'best of both worlds', which means maintaining a thoughtful attitude in coordination with a carefree one. All my life I've been trying to go one way or the other, but I find that Zen is about being able to do both, to mix the simple with the higher things in life. All the answers are always so simple! Why do we strive!?
And yet, I strive...
But it's ok! I'll find a way!

Okay, so last weekend was quite mad, a lot of going out in the city of Athens, a bit of drinking partying etc, some boredom... I was just glad to be off work I guess. We went at the beach twice, in the first case we climbed down a huge cliff just to discover a fully crowded nudist beach, that was pretty embarassing... All in all, just a crazy, crazy weekend!
But now I'm really connecting with things around me and I'm relaxing after the intensity of it all, it's great. The week is evolving quite smoothly so far, I've been trying to participate in all things and not just take the back seat.
Surprisingly, it's working! More on that laters!!!
p.s. Tomorrow is gonna be a cool day. After work I'll go straight the the Buddhist Centre & join my good friends for prayer & meditation, and after that I'll instantly have to disappear into the underground and travel to the other side of town cause we've got a rehearsal with the band. Awesome! As for now, I'm just about to close up the shop and take the solitary work to the station (i love this 9 pm walk). My friends are waiting at Agelis' house, and god knows what they'll be up to again!
