Rehersals were great.
Amber is so cool. Really. She's like Paulie and Brittany combined. AND SHE LOVES PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. She played in Guys & Dolls. I almost died when I said, "Good times" and she replied "Great oldies". . . "...OLDIES 96 POINT FIIIIIIVE." Yeaaah. BRITTANY ILYKTHNXBI. So. Jeanne had me try out for the role of Isabelle, which is kind of like a Christine-esque character, in some ways. I can tell you, with no acting experience, I did really good. Jeanne said even I surprised her, in a good way. These hicks were just reading the paper, and not putting any emotion into it.
It was a love scene. I thought about the end of Phantom of the Opera, and 5 seconds later, I was sobbing and grasping on to the guy. It was an amazing feeling.
So pretty much, I've probably got a shot. I hope I get it. Really, if you saw the other people, you would laugh. The biggest rednecks. I was laughing on the inside. Jeanne had me and this guy stay back to perform it again, so I think that means something.
It better. If I lose to a hick, I will be severly offended. rofl.
Amber and I are the lead/stronger sopranos. Everyone else was like "WhOa u gUyZ r So0o0 GooD1!1" There's a really good 12 year old, too.. oh, and this adorable little 7 year old! She's so precious. Mmhmm!
It starts either the 15th, or the 22nd of November. I don't remember if she said the week of, or the week before. It's 10 dollars for adults, 8 for seniors, and 6 for students. If you want tickets, let me know and I'll hook you up.
