The good: New friends, (trips to) DC shows, free light rail rides, my job being full time, walking home a different route eveey day, having a record and book store less than 4 blocks of my house, having a crush, cheap sandwiches and vegan snacks from OK Natural Foods, the prospect of joining one band and starting another, and tons of good in and out of town shows in the coming months.
The bad: My bike getting stolen, an $85 check falling out of my binder on its way to being mailed to my bank, this city not having a food co-op, and seeing too many "condos coming soon" signs around town.
The absurd: the singer of Bane lives in my neighborhood. I was told this and was a bit skeptical until he walked by me on Sunday.
