Last night I got to see all my favorite local bands one last time, plus I Object and In Disgust played since their Bremerton show fell through. Oly has so many good bands now, I never would have thought it even a couple of years ago. Part of me is sad to leave, but maybe I can hook them up with east coast shows when they tour.
Tonight's my last night of this job. I leave Oly tomorrow morning, then head east Tuesday night, then look for work and go to shows several times a week and plenty of out of town ones this summer. Bike has been shipped, but I'm not gonna ship my records until I know where I want to end up for a while. One thing I'm excited about is that I'll be able to do shows with bands from different states due to the close proximity of east coast cities.
I so want to make one of these for my bike. Imagine the fun that could be had with a bunch of people with them, especially during Critical Mass or something.
