How much did that thunderstorm yesterday morning make my day? I got SO excited when I heard that! Woken up by a clap of thunder that had to be within a couple blocks of me. And then... RAAAAAIIIN! Yes! It rained! I don't know how long it was for, because I fell back asleep, but I certainly heard it on the roof. And then it was 95 degrees and muggy as Florida. Blaaah. *insert rant about no air conditioning here*
I got my PotC 2 ticket!! Wooooo! Midnight showing! I'm so excited, it's not even funny. My PotC!Pluto doll is coming with me again. He came with me to opening night of the first one, too, and sat on the armrest. It will be crazy fun, I tell ya!
Got "Newsies" to watch this week, since I haven't seen that since I was in Florida. I so love that movie! Alas, the disc was scratched and wouldn't play! :( New disc should be here today, though. So I stayed up FAR too late watching PotC last night instead.
And the good news? KIRSTEN IS EMPLOYED!! WOO! Or will be, anyways. Got a call back from the research facility this morning with an offer. I'm scheduled to start July 17th, pending all the needles I get to be stuck with first (TB tests, blood tests, and I'll probably need a tetanus booster cause it's been a long time). :P This will be my first job where I actually have regular Monday through Friday hours. :D Yaaay, job!
