I knew, the moment I saw that Draik Day was coming up, that I was entering the art gallery. Regardless of whether I win or not, I had a ton of fun putting this image together. It's just a boring old green Draik, but I loved him so much. This is the only image I've ever drawn large; he took up the entire page. I had fun posing him the way I think a Draik should be posed, and since- to me- they're European/Asian dragon crosses, it was fun to make him crouch-sit. Yep, he's trying to grab the raindrop. I called the picture, "the Enchantment of Rain" and after mauling it a bit, sent it into TNT. I had to push it down about two hundred pixels in height and save it as a medium-quality JPG before they'd accept it, but it still looks nice.
I hope I get in.
