Saw tub ring for a couple songs (matt was tired).
Anyway, it was a great show. Bad Acid trip was a great band with an awesome onstage presence.
The show appeared to be heavier then I thought and I didn't realize so many people were into tub ring. Small venue for sure. No air at all making it feel hot. Yeah, I didn't care much for the venue at all.
We had a hell of a time getting there. The exit we were to take was closed so we had to reroute. Took us no time. We ended up in Grand Rapids a little too early as well. When we got there the bums seemed to be out in force. My co worker Scotty was approached by a man who wanted 75 cents for his medicine. Scotty Jingled the change in his pocket and said he didn't have any. Classic. There were plenty of cute girls and I didn't really hit on any because, well I have no car and it was GR which is 70 miles away.
The ride home was filled with peril too. We couldn't figure out how to get back on the main highway (bad directions from two different store clerks). I figured we'd just ride south til we hit something faimilar. Finally found 131. All of us were tired as hell but of course I got stuck driving until we were close to kalamazoo.
Yeah, I had a good time.
