“Did you hear? House was caught kissing someone in one of the unused rooms last night. Word is they were getting pretty heavy. If the nurse who saw them had been a few minutes slower…”
“Who was he kissing? Who told you?”
“It’s all over the hospital! He was kissing Cuddy!”
“No!”
“Yes.”
“You must have heard it wrong!”
”I didn’t. I swear. Not to sound childish, but I think ‘House and Cuddy, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G’ may apply.”
“I don’t believe it. It’s got to be some stupid rumour going around!”
The door swung open with a loud clang and House ambled in, favouring his side a little more than usual. He cocked an eyebrow. “What’s this I hear about a rumour?” He looked from Chase to Cameron and back again.
“You haven’t heard?”
“Heard? Heard what?” Sarcastic.
“A nurse supposedly caught you and Cuddy kissing in a spare room, last night.”
“It’s not true, is it?”
“Oh, that. Nooo, of course not.” Smirk. “We weren’t just kissing…”
