"That's what I'm asking you!" She threw him back against the bed, feeling disgusted to touch him. "I dump you so you decide to go after Cloud? What the hell kind of jealous ass does that!?" Tifa was growing impatient with the way he was acting stupid.

"I'm talking about whatever stupid plan you have to kill Cloud!" Tifa shouted in reply, temper snapping (as if it hadn't before).

Tifa glared, grabbing his collar once more. However, she didn't pull him up, this time. "Don't play dumb with me! Dietrich told me that you're planning something!" She spat mercilessly. "I'm not afraid to beat it the hell out of you!"

Tifa's hand curled to make a fist and she stepped back to keep herself from pommeling him. "Dietrich from triple d. He saw your personal journal post--I'm sure you remembered to lock it from me--about planning to kill Cloud."

Tifa stopped, watching him closely. She took note of the sores on him and her fist unclenched. Dietrich had said he was lying about being sick, which was clearly not the case. And JENOVA being here too... "No." She finally murmured, realizing she'd been tricked. She felt like an idiot for it, but... at least Cloud wasn't in danger. "You wouldn't kill him just for that. But, it's not like you don't have limitless other reasons."

"He..." Tifa glared, knowing she'd made a mistake. Of course, she'd never admit that. She was much too proud, especially when it concerned Rufus. "You aren't above trying to ruin Cloud's life, Rufus. Don't even try and pretend that you are. I know how you operate. Just... leave him alone!"

"Clearly not as you're just sitting around here with your alien whore." Tifa replied, frustration building again. Rufus always seemed to manage that.

She frowned, watching him. "You said you'd get a real doctor if it came up again." She added in a softly worried voice.
