I'll admit that I haven't read the initial post in question in which this whole thing started but based on your response? Feel lucky that I wasn't the mod dealing with this. You would have been banned instead of having the option to leave.

In order to get respect, it helps to treat others as such. Instead of attempting to be patronizing, try doing what you're attempting to preach.

Hi! Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I submitted a post to the comm about 3 days ago (on Sunday) and my post hasn't shown up yet. I also haven't gotten a notification that it was rejected or anything. This is my first attempt at posting here and wanted to check on the status of my post. (I'm super-sorry if it just takes a while and I'm just getting antsy.) Thanks!

Hey, I'm really sorry about this... as I just posted to the community, it appears that the queue is malfunctioning, which has never really happened before on a regular basis. I was about to explain that I'm without my normal computer access, but I'm sure that I checked the queue sometime after Sunday, and I'm pretty sure my comod did as well -- but nothing was there. Anyway, I approved it now, and we'll see if it continues to do this...

Sure, that sounds like a cool comm and it's good for our fandom to get more action. Go ahead and advertise what you want, since the comm has been pretty quiet lately - if it seems like too much, after a while, we'll just stop approving them and send a note along with. But I don't see us doing much of that.

You don't need to do anything - just try to join the comm, and it'll put you in moderation. Then we just approve you within a few days' time (when we check the queue). :)

Apologies - moderation has gone down to one and I'm pretty busy. But still, it was an oversight. You can post anything you like about the scully-thon -- our posts no longer go through the queue, so it should show up immediately.
