Oh, and don't forget that his father used to abuse him! His childhood was nothing but instances of getting beaten, kicked, verbally assaulted, thrown around, strangled, boiled alive, skinned and made into womens' purses, and decapitated by his dad. And he constantly tells Scully about this and weeps. And then they have sex.
