watched Pan's Labrynth last night
the movie was seriously awesome. i feel kind of dumb for waiting so long to see it now - even though i was kind of waiting because i had some wishy-washy plans to see it with a girl i was talking to (like a month ago). but she's back to not returning calls/messages/texts after telling me she definitely wanted to hang out like a week and a half ago, haha. oh well.
anyway, if you haven't seen the movie i highly recommend it. its surprising how little subtitles interfere with movie viewing. which is really awesome because most American movies suck ass these days.
i also wrote the girl i hung out with on NYE yesterday (who it turns out was probably seeing someone, but hadn't told me). i had tried to call her last week just to say "hey no big deal, you gotta do what you gotta do" or whatever. no answer, no returned call of course, haha. anyway wrote her on myspace saying the same thing, and that if she was seeing someone she could have just told me and it wasn't that big of a deal. she called me yesterday evening but i missed the call. which is an interesting pattern. only calls after myspace messages, haha.
