So you rant about all of your old "USED to be" friends at the original post. Then in reply to Taylor, you say "there's a bigger world and I'm a part of it."
Which is it? Are you focused on going forward? Or are you still stuck to this bubble of friends that you're lashing out at?
If (please notice the "if") you've written off some of them and then start acting, pardon the term, butt-hurt when they've written you off, well then, Monsieur, you win the Golden Hypocrite Award.
"Do you motherfuckers forget I have feelings?"
No, Danny, we don't. But this 'Punk-Hardcore-Straightedge-straitrazer' whatever the hell front you're putting up where you insist you 'don't care' just may be too much work for some people.
Now for enlightened souls such as myself . . . . (I'll wait for you to finish laughing). . . .who are able to see through this, I offer the following free advice which you may choose to ignore.
There will come a time in your life, Danny where you will have to decide what you care deeply about. It may be tomorrow, it may be 10 years from now. And you will devote your life to showing that you do care deeply about it. Once that decision is made, whichever way you go with it, all of this angst will disappear. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to suffer to be an artist in any form. But your circle of friends will always treat you in the way they feel you are treating them.
