Then: In the frigid winter waters of Minnesota, something dangerous has been drowning people. Bored Winchester boys and a solo Rogue team up to discover what's going on, but can two prejudiced proto-Hunters and a nearly powerless, inexperienced mutant even manage the meeting of minds necessary to start saving lives?
Now: 'The maps,' Sam said flatly. Sure, she was here for maps. All the girls wanted Dean's... maps. 'Okay,' he added, and shoved a few books aside to expose said maps, which he'd used for tracing waterways and not yet put away.
'Very kind,' Rogue replied, with the merest touch of irony in her tone, and she pulled a chair over to share the table with the younger brother.
