Woo Hooo! Finally had the opportunity to rent out a car thanks to my cousin's contact, who was willing to allow me to rent a car (in spite of only a month of passing my license). Took some stretching of the truth and a mini counselling session to convince her though. For me i think its a dumb rule, cos if you don't rent a car to that person, how would he/she gain the necessary experience? Oh well, the bottom line is that I got to drive the car for 4 days and upon contemplation, I think there are a couple of Pros of renting cars instead of buying them:

1. Save the environment (Yawn)
2. Don't have to worry about ensuring the car is properly cleaned, serviced etc.
3. When you don't have enough money, you don't have to rent a car. When you don't have enough money you still have to pay your owned car's expenses.
4. Don't have to give a hobbit's ass about scratches and the like (though I did take some effort to clean a scratch I made, with Hafidz's help!)
5. You can keep changing the cars you drive! That's the best part: this weekend I got to drive the Ah Beng's dream car: the Mazda 3!

I big Con about renting a car: Giving it back... booo

But at least I maximised the car's potential!
- Ate at Esplanade
- Went to Wedding at Tampines
- Went shopping at NTUC
- Went Supper at Al Azhar
- Went to East Coast Park
- Went to Granny's house
- Went to Yishun House
- Went to In-laws' Place

All in all a productive week, except the part where I fell on me arse in East Coast Park trying to blade.

East coast park: hot and tiring
