A long overdue political rant...
Does anyone else find it funny that the Republicans who flipped shit when the government wanted to take ONE brain-damaged woman who had been in a coma for many years off life support, yet voted for a president who is waging an illegal oil war in which thousands of healthy, able-bodied human beings have died so far? So much for being "pro-life".....
Maybe Kanye West was a moron for saying Dubya doesn't care about black people....but that doesn't mean Bush handled the Katrina situation well....while Bush is taking it upon himself to "liberate" people halfway around the world, he is letting his own country go to hell....I mean, New Orleans is practically the Third World now. And Bush's approval ratings lower than ever, makes me wonder how he got re-elected...oh wait, people just can't get past the issues of abortion and gay marriage because their holy scripture says those things are wrong, and somehow think those are the ONLY moral issues the Bible addresses, so those two little things somehow take precedence over such "hippie ideals" as peace, love, and compassion for the poor that just happened to to be expounded by their very savior himself. Some people (and a certain president) seriously have their priorities out of order....
