Belgians will conquer the world...
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday have been hell. You know those days when you feel the universe has conjured up on you and almost everyone around you tries to make you feel even more stupid and useless and everything just goes wrong? Well I had 3 days like that in a row.
Then came yesterday with the Milano Sanremo and it was just squee!! I got to Milan early enough to find a place at the iron fence near the podium, so I could see the cyclists up close :D Then what was my surprise when I heard the girls near me speaking Flemish?! They were on a school trip and they teachers took them to see the start of the race and drool over cheer for Tom Boonen, which happens to be my fav cyclist together with Andy Schleck ♥ I started chatting with the Belgian gang and they started calling the cyclists over to us!! OMG and most of them came OMG!! I got very good pics *drools* Then Boonen came and Salvo (the speaker) announced he had told him there were Belgians there for him, when I translated it... the two teachers just went nuts LOL! XD
And so Boonen came over! Up close... like 30cmt away! O M G O_O I told him "ga ervoor" like Sandy taught me and he smiled *iz ded* The teachers grabbed him and squeezed him in a bear hug XD

I also saw Ale, but she was doing interviews on the other side of the podium and I didn't want to move, so this time I didn't speak with her, the Giro is 2 months away anyway :P
Then in the afternoon I received a surprise visit from an high school classmate I've not seen in years, she came home to visit her mother, who lives near me and came by to see hi o_O We went out to eat a crepe with chocolate (and I'm still aliveee :P) and then we went to visit our friend at the cemetery. We watched some old pics, some are almost 15 years old oh my O_O

Now I just have to survive the day, with my lovely mother... and she invited my father over *grits teeth* Whoever invented holidays doesn't have my love. At all.
