Im back!
Well.....
tunisia was um. eventfull to say the least.
we got there at like 9 in the evening and found out wed missed dinner. which after a horrible flight (turbulence)was not great. i hate flying so i cudnt eat very much on the plane.
went in the bar and asked for a jaydee to calm my nerves and they dont sell it!!!
the weather was shite the first two days so we went into monistir (the locan town)MY GOD. i have never had so much hassle in my life.
because i was a white western european young female everywhere i went i got stared at and gawped at. the shop keepers are vile! they pull you into the shop and one even grabbed my mum and wudnt let her go. i was gonna punch the guy but coz they have such a low opinion of women and women do not have very good human rights in tunsia i didnt.
i got offered 3000 camels for my mom by one!
so after this shitty trip to the town (where i have never been so scared in my life) we went to the desert.
OMG it was amazing its just so fuckin beautiful. and i rode a camel =P
the weather picked up as well which was good. but when we got back to the hotel in kinda went down hill again.
shared a bong with my mum which was cool. got kinda stoned.
on teh last day there was a miss understanding about a meal that needed paying for and five hotel managers threatened to hold us hostage untill we payed it was soo scary!
one peice of advice.....
IF YOU ARE A YOUNG WHITE GIRL DO NOT GO TO ANY ARABIC COUNTRIES WITHOUT A MAN!!!
didnt get in till two in the morning last nite and then we got on the wrong bloody motoway so needless to say college is a no no!
