I'd be willing to co-mod with someone who has done this before as I've only ever participated. Also, work will be ridiculously insane from right before Christmas until about the second week in January.

I co-mod something similar (it's a secret gift exchange, only it's not just limited to Christmas, and the format is slightly different) so I'm game, if you don't find anyone better (and I'm sure there are people far better than me to do this).

Hmm--I'm pretty busy through the end of the semester, but my students turn in their papers on Dec 19, so I could pick up at the end--to help make sure people are posting, and nudge those who don't, find last-minute fillers.

I don't have experience running this sort of thing--but hopefully previous mods would be willing to advise?

I would like to see this community up and running this year. So, I can help co-mod if need be. Though, I think I'd like to try out as a participant first.

Edited to note: I should also say that I've run a Secret Santa at a message board that is essentially in the same format as this one for three years.
