Oh, season 8 Scully pretty much owns my heart with all the angst she was going through so this was just lovely. I love how seemlessly it all flows together and how perfectly I can picture these thoughts running through her head. It's beautiful. And the last line, a little glimpse of hope even in that horrible sad moment. Thank you so much for the great present. I hope you had a great Christmas as well. And Happy New Year:D
