Day #1: Favorite Season
Hope it's ok to post this here! I'm waiting to post the whole thing in one go on my journal. But I want to share this one in particular right away =)
Day #1: Favorite Season
"I was drugged!" - Mulder, Bad Blood
I am going to wuss out, and say I have two favourite seasons. I adore both season five, and season six. In my mind, they almost merge into one season of glorious love (probably because I first watched them both in one glorious XF marathon).
There is a lot of great mytharc over these seasons, and it’s a great time for character development (Redux/II, The Red and the Black and Dreamland/II). Milargo is probably one of my favorite darker character eps. Also, The Pine Bluff Variant has some great Mulder/Scully tension.
But I really loved these season for the stand alone funny eps. At heart, though I follow the mytharc, I reall love XF for the funny. TPMP, Bad Blood, Dreamland/II, The Rain King. And of course, my hands down favourite ep Triangle. (God, I love Triangle). Almost all of my favourite episodes are in these two seasons.
So, without further ado, here is a pic spam of the glory of S5&6, and some of my favourite quotes:
