So, the first draft deadline has been and gone, the artist sign ups have finished and it's time for the stories to be claimed!
Claiming a Story:
Summaries will be claimed on a first come, first served basis.

Once the summmary has been claimed, no one else can take it.
If two people claim a summary at the same time we will use the timestamp to determine who got there first.
Once the summary has been claimed, you'll be given the author's name and contact information.

The Summaries:
1. Hidden Reflections
Rating: R - for violence, sexual images and language.
Category: Post - X Files: I Want To Believe / Stand-alone horror.
Summary: After helping the FBI solve a case in Virginia, Scully continues her work as a doctor whilst Mulder remains unemployed. After searching the Internet, he comes across a number of closed cases dating back to the 60’s, involving Asian women who all died in front of mirrors. He is immediately drawn to them believing the paranormal was involved. Meanwhile, at the hospital Scully takes on a new physician’s assistant, who is a Japanese cousin of a work colleague of hers. One day, Mulder meets this young lady, and she is instantly attracted to him. However she harbours a terrible secret, and he discovers a connection to her in ways he could never even have conceived. What follows is a tale of innocence, hidden passions, deceitful lies that hide the truth, plenty of angst and brutal bloody murders.
And to top it all the year 2012 is still looming in the distance.

2. Queen of Hearts
Rating: M/NC-17/R (very mature and for more than just consentual sex)
Summary: The sequel to "Paper Hearts" case file, MSR, family, drama
3. The Ghosts of Thurmere Hall
Rating: R
Pairing: Mulder/Scully
Summary: Mulder and Scully investigate a four-hundred-year-old Manor House in the north of England that appears to have a few unwanted occupants. They team up with Susan Dalton, an employee of the restored Hall, to find out what exactly goes bump in the night...
Potential warnings: Mass bird suicide? A lot of birds die, at any rate.
4. Life Reclaimed
Rating: Adult language, graphic violence, adult situations
Category: MSR, post IWTB
Summary: After the events of I Want To Believe, Mulder is given another case with far reaching consequences and Scully is pulled along for the ride.
5. Machines of Freedom
Rating: R (non-explicit sex, language, adult subjects)
Pairing: On the gen/MSR border; also with bonus added non-canon slash pairings
Summary: It's November 2012, and Mulder and Scully are working with Reyes, Doggett, and Skinner to lead an international struggle to protect the world against the oncoming alien threat. But can they keep their family safe in a world that's about to end? Features cross-country overnight drives, mysterious smoking informants, a bunker in Montana, Labcoat!Wearing!Scully, more Wii-playing than any man in his fifties really should be engaging in, and, just maybe, some redemption for the Mulder family line (plus making it safe for women for the first time in, IDK, ever.)
Warnings: None of the big ones like rape, incest, graphic violence, or character death; but artist should probably not hate: the existence of children in a story; the acknowledgement that seasons eight and nine and IWTB did, actually, happen; any depiction of canon-straight characters as not-straight; gunfights and fistfights described in moderate detail; or improbably cracky yet highly canonesque deus ex machina plot twists.
6. Take A Walk Down Lonely Street
Rating: R/NC17
Characters/Pairing(s): Skinner/Scully, Mulder/Krycek, Doggett, CSM, Marita, Lone Gunmen, etc.
Summary: Scully’s dreamed miracle of pregnancy brings lots of troubles to theirs world. Mulder doesn’t care for the changes, but he wants to protect his future godson. Skinner tries to hold back his overprotective instincts, but basically just wants his woman and his son safe and happy. Scully still hopes for a girl. And Krycek appears to mess things up, but this time for the good cause. Or so he says, mostly he's just forced to road-trip with Mulder and listen to Elvis.
Warnings: m/m sex, violence, swearing, pregnancy. Oh, and lots of Elvis. And an author who mades lots of mistakes and little sense, and didn't yet manage to get the beta. :)
7. Lovers in Friends
Rating: PG-13
Category: MSR
Summary: Takes place after FTF. The Agents are given an assignment that would make them reflect to their relationship. A lame assignment turned out to become case without even one of them asking for it. What will happen to the agents the people affected by the case? What's been happening behind the agents back? Could someone really uncover the suspects crimes and will they be able to save them this time?
8. The Refugium
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Skinner/Mulder and pre-Skinner/Mulder/Krycek
Summary: Skinner and Mulder spend a weekend at The Refugium, a kind of BDSM resort where the concept of Master and slave is lived in the truest sense of the meaning. And even though they live in a Dom/sub relationship, Skinner still struggles with the idea of people voluntarily selling themselves as slaves. Mulder, on the other hand, is beyond intrigued by it. And just when Skinner finally sees the appeal of a place like The Refugium, fate throws him and his sub a curveball: a slave called Alex Krycek.
Warnings: BDSM-themed, though nothing explicit. Mention of past abuse (also not explicit). Some Krycek-centered angst.
9. Resist or Serve
Rating: PG-13
Pairings: Various in background including Mulder/Krycek, Jack/Ianto, Nicholas/Mark
Crossover fandoms: X-Files, Doctor Who/Torchwood, The State Within
Summary: "And so it came to pass that the human race fell and the earth was no more..." As Harold Saxon and his toclofane claim dominion of the world, the question everyone has to ask themselves: resist or
serve?
Warnings: Not everyone makes it to the end of the Year-That-Never-Was, violence, non-explicit genocide.
10. A Tell-Tale Truth
Rating: Generally a mild R, but NC-17 for an explicit sex scene.
Pairing: Scully/CSM sort of, if I had to choose, but mostly gen.
Summary: Agent Mulder discovers the Cigarette Smoking Man is involved with smuggling in illegals and Scully goes undercover to find out why. She ends up on a journey that takes her nearly across the country and away from everything that was familiar to her.
11. Before the War
Rating: T
Pairing: MSR, Doggett/Reyes
Category: Post IWTB
Summary: A project long assumed abandoned is reignited with the vengeance of a new evil. Lives are sacrificed as a journey into past deeds leads to the realization that truths aren't as they may seem. Scully and Mulder rediscover their greatest lose while reconnecting with those who shared the burdens with them.
12. Amazing Grace
Rating: PG
Pairing: MSR
Summary: Post-IWTB. It is the summer after the Doctor Frankenstein case, and Mulder is a free man again. While Scully is still reeling from the death of her young patient, Mulder uncovers a secret which threatens everything he has come to believe. A stash of letters, each with an identical DC postmark, each with the same message.
Your sister is alive.
We know where she is.
Is the temptation of Samantha worth more than the life they have painstakingly eked out in an unremarkable house somewhere in Virginia? Scully, fresh out of faith, can't see how it will be worth it in the end.
13. The Quiet Limit of the World
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: MSR
Warning: AU

14. Disappear
Rating: PG-13
