I learnt today that Clifford Pier, built by the govt in 1933, used to be Johnston's Pier. Johnston was a good guy whose business had to do directly with imports and exports. Clifford had nothing to do with trade, but he was the Governor of the Straits Settlements. Thus: Singapore, sucking up to higher-ups since 1933 (and beyond).
Have been using stupid army phone since yesterday cos my HTC Sensation is in the repair shop (hopefully they will do sth about my battery...). Thus, I slept through my alarm this morning, and completely missed a breakfast meeting with an ST senior writer. Omfg. Look at me, bumbling through life, and not being amusing enough to make up for it T__T
I was writing about the Cyberbullying article on KRC, but it became somewhat long, so I shall do another post for it. Then go visit my mommy. Yay!
