This morning I awoke to check MySpace and it's bulletains to see that one of my closest friends who's over in London studying with other students from the United States as well as the rest of the world. This is a requirement for his masters degree, when he left he was stressed that he might not be able to go but worked things out and now with today's actions of some coward's attacking London's transit system, some luck right? This is what I awoke to on his MySpace bulletain:

Subject: London is exploding, but I'm okay.
Body: So. Three double decker busses have exploded as well as three tube stations. All within a square mile of where the FSU Study Center and the flat where I'm staying are.
What's really crazy is that we heard the last bus explosion as we were walking to one of the tube stations that also blew up. Our group was late gathering and leaving for our destination.
Everything happens for a reason.

Subject: London explosions.
Body: A very close call this morning. A double decker bus was blown apart about one block from the flat I'm staying in. Two other buses and four tube stations were hit also, including the one we were walking to.
Our group gathered a bit late this morning and were headed for the tube station. The bus blew up as we were walking toward Russel Square. It was really loud, and we all kind of looked at each other wondering what the hell it was. Minutes later police and fire vehicles start screaming by. As we got further up the block, a mass of people came toward us, some running, others walking very fast, saying there was a bomb.
Everything happens for a reason.
Love and live. Now.

Subject: Hardcore (Merauder) in London.
Body: Just got back from a really great show at The Underworld in Camden. I walked for miles in the rain to get there due to the fact that all the busses and trains were out of commission. It felt good to see a hardcore band from Brooklyn play a show after a day like today in London. I would have been real disappointed if they had canceled (two of the local bands did - sissies).
Took a double decker bus home because I was exhausted, and, it was my way of saying FUCK YOU to the COWARDS that planted all the bombs.
Cheers.
Leave it to Julian to make something positive happen out of day of something bad. Julian my friend, be careful but if you do see some of those cowards you better use your training Uncle Sam tought you to take them down! Also, be safe cause your little daughter over here is what counts most!!!
