for once, i am glad that i live in waltham. there are like 2 plows in
the whole city. and guess where they haven't gotten since 3am? my
street. and guess what that means? hhahahahahhaaa.... NO STOP AND SHOP TODAY!!!!!!
YESSSSSSS..... work yesterday was not even real. i have never in my
liffe eperienced anything quite like it. it was so busy, the lines were
backed up into the aisles, every single line was being used including
the bakeshop and florist and dunkin donuts and the bank and the
pharmacy. i literally could not buy a soda because there were so many
people that i couldn't find the little fridge things. there was no
bread, no yogurt, and no chips. it was madness. the only time i
didnt have a customer was when someone like passed out at my register
and i had to close. claustraphobia. never again in my life will i agree
to work at a supermarket before a blizzard. never. i better be paid
extra for that shit. i could have died. i'm surprised no one did. so
after all that foolishness, i was really not ready to go back. luckily
my car is buried (and its a minivan) and the streets arent plowed in
waltham yet. and my stars have become a slide. no joke. there is no
definition of steps. it's just a downward slope and the only way to get
out of my house is to slide because our shovel is buried. the back door
is unusable. my mom took a taxi to work (which is around the corner). a
$2 ride. and theres no school monday or tuesday!
hallelujah! no turpin! and we come back on day 4 on which day i have an
R1 study! tell me, what could be better? oh i know. if i werent stuck
in waltham. it was nice when i didnt want to go to work but it really
does suck that i cant go out in the snow for fear of drowning. oh well.
nothing can get me down today. no work, no school, omg i think i might
very well die of happiness. PLUS I HAVE 16 NEW BOOKS TO KEEP ME COMPANY!!! AHHHH!!!!!
