I let
eternity slide by
and then suddenly
I tamed my
timid thoughts
reached for Him
and grabbed
a handful of happiness
from his worn
and weathered hands
and held it next to my heart.
His Love
defied
every moment
of wasted time
stagnant seconds posing
the question,
"What could be?"
And now I know
just what is.
Love understands not
what time is
and into it
I fell.
