SO much has changed!
Alright, so I'm sitting here at my desk in my new apartment on Brackett St. with my new kittie (a 7 year old gray tiger cat named Henry, to be exact) on my lap.
everything is going amazingly well. I ended up accepting a position as an advertising Account Executive at the Portland Phoenix (where I interned last summer) instead of going to WPXT-TV like originally planned. I start tomorrow. The Phoenix just felt a lot more like home. The money and benefits are about the same and I won't have to shave, take out my earring, or pass piss tests at The Phoenix. I will be more successful, secure and happy there, for sure. Oh, and they own (and have for me to take clients to) tickets to the red sox, patriots, celtics & bruins, as well as every event here in town and A HUGE expense account for me. So that's exciting.
And lastly, I'm going to Richmond, VA the weekend of July 14th for my cousin Poohie's wedding. I'm psyched! It'll be great to see the whole family. Oh, and my NEW car (an '07 Mazda 3i) is incredible - I got it with only 18 miles on it. I love it. The end.
