You know, a thought just occured to me: Everyone is so weird about not listening to Avril Lavigne or Good Charlotte or whomever else just beacuse they are so-called posers. Now, I thought you actually had to say you are punk to be a poser. And none of those people ever called themselves punk. Everyone talks about how wrong it is to listen to a certain kind of music just because of what the people look like, or dress like. Now, isn't it just as bad to NOT listen to a certain kind of music because of what people wear? Music is music. To me the lyrics are more important than how the person represents themselves. So maybe we can stop critisizing people based on what they listen to? Because, speaking from experience, music is very personal and for some is an escape. So when someone is treated differently because their of music, it feels bad, because you are basically hurting the person, their soul...
