i'm having a hard time typing because johnny rambo (aka osama bin laden) caught me with one of his many claws right where the crease of my thumb meets the side of my nail bed. and then on the other side of that thumbnail, somehow it got ripped about 1/4 of the way below where the nail separates from skin. its growing out now, but its still in that area where if it pulled off, it would really freaking hurt.

my boss is nowhere to be found today. so i think i may abort this mission and head out to run a few errands.
