A brief conversation between me and the cleaner lady (Helen) at work!
*washes out tea cup*
Me:Good weekend?
Helen:Yes yes, lovely weather wasn't it?
Me:Yep, sun was shinin', makes everyone that little bit more cheery
Helen:Of course.. unless if you were in town on saturday night
Me:Yeah well, better to be safe than sorry.. just applied to 30,000 people
Helen:Haha, yeah..
*more cup washing, cleaner lady leans over*
Helen:I bet the asians in town will be afraid to come out today.. just like london.
Me:Yeah, I heard they were worried about people giving a 'knee-jerk' reaction to it all and kicking back.
Helen:Well, it was the same when there were the old birmingham attacks and the IRA.. the english like to retaliate to some of these things..
Me: Hah.. must be in our nature..
Helen:Of course.. i can't see a reason why not..
*Cleaner lady laughs and i head back to my office*
