Busiest End Of A Semester Ever

Apr 19, 2007 20:13

Well this semester is finally almost over, but it is definately going to keep me pretty busy until the very end it looks like. I have four papers to do, a load of reading and homework for Eng 261, His 111, and Art History 114, a museum trip for my visual analysis paper, and two major projects to turn in for Drawing II.

The two projects due in Drawing are going to be the toughest (and probably most fun and rewarding) works I have done all semester. The first is a life sized self portrait (The paper is taller than me and yes we have to fill it top to bottom) and the second is a mixed media artwork which basically consists of creating a piece of work with any kind of media you would like to put in it...paint, pencil, collage, sculpture, 3D Object, ect. The possibilities are endless.

I chose this one to do instead of the option of the emotional work because of the flexibility and creative potentional. But now I just have to figure out what to include in it. Well thats it for now...I have to finish reading Michel DE Montaigne's collection of Essays and I am only on the Essays of Cannibals ( which is really interesting because it talks about how the term barbaric can not be defined and is a misused label put on cultures just because they are different) so I better hurry up and get it done so I can take a shower. Later!
